Parmalat, based in Parma, Italy, is the largest dairy in the world and among the top global food brands. Already the dairy industry leader in Canada, Parmalat had acquired production facilities in New York and Atlanta, and subsequently set aggressive financial goals for expansion across the U.S.
Our role was to guide the North American executive team in creating their Strategic Vision for the U.S. This included understanding their relationship with retail customers and consumers in the U.S., as well as consideration of Parmalat’s global objectives in order to ensure alignment. The result was a Current and Future Profile of Parmalat in the U.S., and the critical issues that need to be addressed in order to achieve their Strategic Vision.
